I set this up in our math center for the children to work on counting and fine motor skills. I set out a container which had a hole drilled on the top along with a bowl of red and green pom poms.
The children pushed the pom poms through the hole in the container. When they were done they took the lid off and counted the number of red and green pom poms and recorded the number on the pom pom sheet.
